Give me Cloud, or Give me Death.

I want to live in the cloud, period. Gmail lets me file my personal email into the cloud. Bloglines.com enables my voracious habit of “reading the net” to occur when I log on any of several personal machines, Windows or Linux.

Kyocera got it right when they recently decided to withdraw from the digital and analog camera bussines. No more cameras My initial reaction: “What a stupid decision. They have decent digital cameras. Why give up?” But now I understand.

Tungsten-C: MP3 Non-Starter

Recently I decided my Palm Tungsten-C could become my starter MP3 player. It didn’t take long to discover that a general purpose PDA makes for a really poor MP3 player.
