Google Desktop Search 2
Google’s (beta) Desktop Search 2 includes a clever sidebar. You will have to try it to get it. After only one day, so far I like it. My sidebar is set to auto-hide off the right side eon my screen.
The comparisons with Konfabulator are way off base. Google Sidebar and Yahoo (Konfabulator) Widgets both rock, but in very different ways.
