David Sifry of Technorati publishes useful statistics about blogging. These stats are from early August:

  • Technorati is tracking about 900,000 blog posts created every day

    … about 37,500 posts every hour, or 10.4 posts per second.

    … about 10.4 blog posts per second, on average

    • Now do you understand why you can NOT possibly keep up? There are not enough hours in the day to read over 10 blog posts a second, 24 hours a day, 365.25 days a year.

    There is a HUGE opportunity for someone who figures out How to Find the Good Stuff.
