“One new feature Microsoft will add to the operating system is the ability to integrate applets, or very small applications, that can run as a sidebar to the operating system, and can be designed for a specific function, such as checking for real-time updates to a travel itinerary.”
How cool is that? Bill Gates is copying Yahoo Konfabulator. Lest we forget, Apple also copied (as in RIPPED OFF) Kofabulator. Why Apple didn’t just buy the company is beyond me.
And here is a breakthrough for mankind in Internet Explorer 7:

“Microsoft said it is also building in a feature to automatically shrink a Web page for printing within IE without cutting off part of the page. The newest browser also will let users more easily subscribe to RSS feeds within Internet Explorer.”
