Do as I Say
According to this note, the (huge!) Microsoft internal wireless network from Aruba Networks is controlled by Linux machines. How cool is that?
I continue to think we will be blessed with an official Microsoft distribution of Linux. They can make the case that since some folks will use Linux on top of the Microsoft Virtual PC or Virtual PC Server products, it would be better for everybody for MS to offer their own “trusted” (and supported) Linux distribution.
To my way of thinking, they should do it yesterday. Big win, tiny downside. The OS is only part of the mix. Be open, or at least create the perception you are open. Take that, Google!
