GoogleBase
GoogleBase (now live) feels like a game changer to me. Listen for a giant sucking sound as ordinary folks start to load information that’s currently scattered across a gazillion random web pages.
GoogleBase makes it easy to associate attributes with bits of data. For example, Ford as automobile vs. Ford as (former) U.S. President vs. Rocky Ford (a town in Colorado).
One of my hobbies is old engines. Normal searching is so frustrating, because it’s difficult to find what you are actually looking for. But what if the many engine enthusiasts start using the FREE GoogleBase service as a way to list the stuff they have? IF that happens (and it’s not a given) our search experience will improve exponentially.
