Revver for Video
I stumbled on Revver via this BusinessWeek TechBeat article about how the Amazon warehouse works. It’s a clever concept. Wonder it it will take hold?
[tease] (From Revver FAQ)
What’s Revver?
Revver connects creators, viewers, and advertisers in a sponsorship marketplace for online video, taking full advantage of the open flow of video on the Internet, rather than trying to fight it. Revver provides all the tools you need to distribute your work online and earn money. Revver benefits everyone by embracing the fact that content can be free and accessible online and still reward creators. How does Revver work?
It’s really simple; you upload a video to Revver, and we attach a brief, unobtrusive ad, called a RevTag™, at the end. You can then track your video’s performance via your Revver account - which tells you exactly how often your video is being watched, and how much money you’ve earned from it.Since RevTags are attached to the video itself, there’s no restriction on how your videos can be distributed. It’s a totally open system — the more that people email your video, post it to other websites or download it from P2P, the more money you will earn. And remember, you can add or remove your video from Revver at any time, and you can control the type of advertising attached to your video.
What kind of videos can I submit?
You can submit any kind of video you want, as long as you’re the creator. We do have a size restriction of 100MB per file, and we can’t accept anything illegal.
