Make a BOM, Go to Jail
This is a true story. A (Caucasian) mechanical engineer from [telcom company XYZ] was at the airport with a fellow worker from East India talking on the phone about BOMs.
Later, while in the middle of doing a major presentation at a large customer’s office the FBI came in and arrested them, and searched their offices and homes.
From now on, they will remember to say “Bill of Materials” not “BOM.”
