AJAX Toolkit Framework

IBM with support from a long list of co-conspirators, is launching AJAX Toolkit Framework. It will be open-source and live in/on the Eclipse Web Tools Platform.

It’s hard to judge the merits of these collaborative group gropes.. This one has buy-in from three interesting outfits: Dojo, Zimbra, and OpenRico.

It’s a classic, in that a long list of fellow travelers has signed up, but as always the devil is in the details. This effort will not float all ships in the (crowded!) AJAX harbor.
