It's truly stunning that this imperial presidency cannot be reeled in by the current Congress. Perhaps the pending defeat of Rick Santorum will help turn the tide. I never thought I'd be including Arlen Specter in my nightly prayers, but he and Dennis Hastert may be our only hopes as responsible Republican leaders in Congress.
