Second Life Elite (Top 5)
Wagner James Au describes The Power Elite of Second Life on the Kotaku site for gamers.
Each of these five characters is interesting. The number 2 “elite” person on Second Life sounds especially interesting:
[tease] (emphasis added)
2 - Baccara Rhodes
Often seen sashaying through the world in a Versace evening gown, Baccara’s avatar is decidedly a woman of a certain age, and by sheer force of personality, she transformed herself into the grande dame of SL. Her language is elegant and often high-flown, and she tolerates no vulgar speech.
She once decided on a whim to move into the combat-enabled war zone, scolding the gamers there for their rude behavior. Outraged, they launched a series of terrorist attacks culminating in the kidnapping of a monkey in an art gallery rigged with proximity lines. But the terrorists never threatened Baccara directly because, one of them sheepishly admitted to me, she had too many powerful friends for them to risk that.
As you may know, I tried to learn and enjoy World of Warcraft (WoW) but found it confusing and boring beyond belief. Before WoW, I experimented with Second Life briefly. My laptop at the time didn’t have the horsepower to do justice to the clever Second Life graphics.
I may dip my toes in the Second Life pool again someday. It has a thriving “in game” economy that I’d like to understand.
Or maybe I’ll concede Second Life to the Baccara Rhodes of the world.

Bacca’s really classy, alright; hosts great parties and whole adventures too, altho I haven’t been to a massive one in sometime. I remember Spellbound productions like Neverland. =]
