Sabifoo Rocks
I do not know a polite way to say this. Sometimes you people really disappoint me. I tell you about a clever new web service such as Sabifoo, and nobody gives me any feedback.
That’s just sucky. You should all be ashamed of your lack of commitment to this blog and to a better Web 2.0 World Order.
Having said that (I feel better! Is it my fault if you (deservedly…) feel worse?) you need to understand that Sabifoo continues to improve. They’ve added nicknames, so that using Sabifoo no longer exposes your regular AIM nickname.
Since you may not remember what Sabifoo is or what it does, it uses instant messaging as a dead simple way for you to post notes to yourself (or others) by simply IMing Sabifoo.
It’s a killer little service. If you wish to live a better life, you will try it. I have to believe you do want to live a better life, otherwise why do you read Cloudy Thinking?
So there!

It is a clever service. But why would I use this in favor of say blogger.com ? I am slow to catch on with these things …

I use Sabifoo as a simple way to jot notes to myself online using IM. Since my IM client is always there, this is a “low friction” way to capture a URL or some other note.
It also supports RSS, but I have not experimented with that part of sabifoo so far.
It’s similar to a few other web services. I am also fond of http://cl1p.net/ Hoeever, cl1p.net is oriented to sharing a scatchpad between a small number of people
