BuzzShout, Gliffy and CNet
BuzzShout is an interesting new site (still in beta) that provides short reviews of web services.
In the “don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back” department, I found
BuzzShout because they were listed as a source in this CNet article about Gliffy — the cool online subset of Visio.
I am DELIGHTED that CNet (courtesy of BuzzShout) has now “discovered” Gliffy. You, as a fanatic reader of Cloudy Thinking learned about Gliffy a MONTH AGO here in at Cloudy Thinking.
Now in the “life just ain’t fair” department, the CNet “a month late and a dollar short” Gliffy article lands on the esteemed TechMeme. TechMeme in turn points to Lifehacker, ResourceShelf and TechBlog for comments on Gliffy.
One of these days Cloudy Thinking may be discovered by TechMeme. Unfortunately, that may not occur during my life time. [grin]
P.S. I LOVE TechMeme. I simply have not acquired enough link love for them to rate me as a credible source. Thank goodness TailRank and Megite use different criteria.
P.S.S. Now I am sounding sound like a certain world-famous PATHETIC WHINER, saying “nobody loves me.” That can’t be good for ratings, can it?
Sheesh. Maybe I need a vacation?
