I tried to visit the Verizon Wireless site this evening. I wanted to learn if the Palm Treo 700p is available in my area.
David Pogue writes in The New York Times about the Motorola Q. In one sentence, he loves the Moto Q hardware, but not the Windows Mobile for Smartphones software.
Michael Arrington of TechCrunch claims “Google is getting out of hand.” Maybe he’s right, or maybe Mike needs a vacation. My gut says appropriate rest and relaxation will help him regain perspective, and return to a productive life.
Irving Wladawsky-Berger of IBM writes about Life and Business in the Virtual World. He says we’ll experience an emerging virtual world that’s ubiquitous, collaborative, intelligent, realistic, and human-like.
Mike Langberg writes in The Mercury News: “Planning for bird flu makes business sense.” It’s an informative article; read it.
The Independent has compiled twenty brief “how to” articles, each written by an expert in the relevant field. Give yourself a break and read the article.
Rob Pegoraro writes in The Washington Post about Treos vs. the Motorola Q. He likes the older Treo 650, and is lukewarm at best toward the Moto Q.
Today, June 5, 2006 I played with the Motorola Q for a few minutes at my local Verizon. The Santa Barbara, CA store received 20 Qs on Friday, and near end of day Monday ten were already sold.
Ethan Zuckerman writes in depth about the One Laptop Per Child project championed by Nicholas Negroponte. His article is carefully researched and well worth your time to read.
