The Jeffries Mideast Peace Plan
The conflict between Israel, Hamas and Hezbollah is complex. There is plenty of blame to spread around, on all sides, including the United States, Iran and Syria.
Condoleeza Rice and George W. Bush are not in any hurry to end the attacks by Israel on Hezbollah and Hamas. They have their reasons; only history will tell whether the delay in calling off these horrific attacks (by both sides) was a smart chess move.
After refreshing my hazy knowledge about how the state of Israel came to be what it is and where it exists (thank you, Wikipedia) I offer you:
The Jeffries Mideast Peace Plan
Israel has a right to exist. But it’s a great idea that suffers from a really bad location. Arabs and Jews have been killing each other since at least 1881.
The United States has been a loyal friend and supporter of modern Israel. We contribute generously, using our political, economic and military assets.
In return, we get nothing but headaches. On a regular basis Israelis and Arabs are killed. There are formal and informal conflicts, over little and big provocations by one side or the other.
My plan ends this long-running nightmare. It is simple, economically sound, and can be a win-win-win. (Israel, Arabs, USA).
Israel was established in a poor neighborhood, one that’s not getting any better. It’s time to end this ongoing disaster.
The Jeffries Mideast Peace Plan is simple: The USA develops a new location for the Sovereign state of Israel.
I propose Israel be relocated to an area currently known as the states of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
This innovative plan has multiple benefits.
* An immediate end to the Arab vs. Israel conflicts of the past 100+ years.
* An cost-effective solution to the immigration of illegal aliens from Mexico.
* Multi-billion dollar reduction in federal spending by avoiding construction of the George W. Bush Memorial Wall along the US/Mexican border.
My analysis shows this plan is self funding. There is negative cash flow during the in years, but it will be cash neutral within ten years.
Assuming each human life saved has a value of a five million dollars (and who can say what a life is worth?) the plan has a solid payback in just under five years.
The Jeffries Mideast Peace Plan is humane, practical, and economically sound.
When can we start?

An excellent idea. I had the same thought myself, only I selected the less populated areas of the US (not considering the illegal immigrant issue) including Montana, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming. My thought was that the Israelis are very industrious and could likely put the economies of these states on an upswing. There is a large tech community in Israel — these states could become the new Silicon Valley. This should help us to reduce some of the enormous deficit our leader has incurred, especially if we are able to stop fighting in the middle east. Who knows we might even have another bubble.
