Technology aggregators (usually auomated) present information about marketing and companies, rather than actual technology. RealTech is different.
RealTech is run by Shelly Powers, a human being. She presents links to interesting technical information, especially information not generally available for a wider audience.
Shelly writes:
We are more than the sum of links on Techmeme, Tailrank, or Megite. However, in the tech community at least, it’s becoming more difficult to hear outside of the echo chamber. That’s one of the reasons I started RealTech, to highlight, well, real technology. Not the marketing, startup crap we get all the bloody time.
