Will Facebook + Parakey Become THE Web Operating System?
Facebook has acquired Parakey. This might mean Facebook will extend its wildly popular API to include persistent objects so you can work offline as well as online.
Wait? I thought [Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Microsoft, OpenLaszlo] were already creating a web OS that will Take Over the World.
Will Facebook dominate the web operating system space? And by the way, if you can explain what a “Web OS” is, I’ll run your article (almost verbatim) with full credit.
