Facebook and Being Out of Work
It’s been three weeks since my employer showed me the door (a.k.a. “layoff”) after almost eight years.
You may be surprised to learn that Facebook has been my best source as I search for what to do next.
I posted a simple status message in Facebook saying that I was out of a job. I had comments and queries within 24 hours.
