Will Google Scoop up Xoopit?
Om Malik writes about Xoopit, the just-announced social thingie that mines Google Gmail (and eventualy other IMAP mail systems) for photos etc.
One question: if this is a good idea — which is not immediatly obvious to me — Google will buy these guys, or create a knock-off. One of those outcomes would be sweet for Xoopit and its investors.
