Notebook Computer Prices Headed Down

Last week I saw a great HP notebook with vivid 17 inch screen, 3 Gig of memory, snappy dual core AMD CPU, big honking hard disk and Vista Premium for $549 at Staples. That’s a fabulous price. Admittedly, it was NOT a light weight laptop, but for many people it would serve as a killer home PC.
As good as the deals will be on Black Friday, if you have the courage to hold out until January 2009 I predict we’ll see even sharper discounts. The economy worldwide is in teh tank. Those lucky enough to still have some money wil benefit from the deflationary spiral we seem to have started.
