For me, bookmarking is largely “write only.” I save a URL, tag it, then never EVER go back to look for it. Generalized web searching is so easy and so powerful (Thank you, Google!) that explicit bookmarks are seldom needed, at least by me. The exception (and it’s an important subset) are the odd links that are not directly text searchable. This happens when there’s no obvious and easily remembered search phrase.
