A friend says: “I don’t Facebook”
I ran across very funny (if slightly not safe for work) video today on Facebook. So, as is my nature, I emailed the link to a very tech savvy friend who I pretty much knew would appreciate the link. But no.
He wrote back: “I don’t FaceBook.” (Well, he actually wrote “I don’t fb.”)
So there you have it. An otherwise smart, connected guy who for whatever reasons chooses to ignore the 180 million (and growing) users of Facebook.
How much you want to bet he also doesn’t use Twitter, or identi.ca
Funny thing is, he’s not all that old, maybe forty-something. Evidently, even very smart people can be totally overwhelmed by the rapid pace of innovation in social media.
It’s his loss. My heart goes out to him.
